Just me. Your humble Wiki host. I'm here because I started a web site a few years ago to pay tribute to the Mall of Memphis, a wonderful, tragic retail center once located in Memphis, TN. I was saddened to see it demolished. Turns out, so where a lot of other people and their contributions of stories and pictures made the site more interesting and relevant than I ever imagined possible. During this process I discovered there were quite a few other sites like mine - dedicated to a mall or shopping center that was the backdrop for many memories in the lives of many people.

For awhile, I linked those sites into the MallofMemphis.org site, but over time realized that a "directory" of sites similar to my tribute would be useful and interesting in it's own right.

I asked well known retail historian Steve Swain to help me get the site started and he continues to do just that with his wonderful perspective.
