North DeKalb Mall located in Decatur opened in 1965 with anchors Rich's and Woolworth's. The mall was renovated and expanded in 1986 to include anchors Upton's, Mervyn's and Lechmere. Today the mall is anchored by Macy's, Burlington Coat Factory, Ross Dress For Less and a 16 screen cinema.
