Did you spend your youth in a mall that is now demolished? Maybe you are one of the lucky ones and your favorite mall still exists and is doing well! Either way, we'd appreciate you adding the names of your malls to this site - plus any pictures, memories, etc.

Here's what you do - copy the sample code here and go to the state page for the mall you are adding. If there is nothing there yet, add the code to the state page to match our other pages:

Step 1

Here's what you do - check out the State page for your mall and see if it has the sample code in place. It should look similar to the code below:

To add a page, just edit where you see Mall Name1, Mall Name 2, etc to be YOUR malls name. - Easy huh?

Once you have your very own mall page, paste this to the top of the page and then tell your story - and THANKS!!!

to:

If the State page happens to be blank, just copy the above and paste into your page.

Step 2

To add a page, just edit where you see Mall Name1, Mall Name 2, etc to be YOUR malls name. When you have finished, click the Save button to save the page.

Step 3

If you have been following along, you should now see your mall name on the State page where it is/was located. It will have a dotted underline indicating the page has not yet been created.

Click your mall name and you should see a screen like the one below. This is where you tell your story.

Add the header lines shown, your name or initials, your comments and a short description of what you change was. Thats it! Congratulations and Thank you for helping Mall Memories build an online mall scrapbook!

Monmouth Mall

When I was young we lived in freehold which did not have a major shopping center until the early 1990's so we had to trek about 20 miles to the monmouth mall in eatontown,nj it was a pretty huge shopping mall at the time and it contained stores like A&S which is now (boscov's after stern's spent 6yrs there,)JCPenny, lord and taylor,bamberger's/macy's and alexanders.this mall did have 5 anchors a&s,penny's and hahnes/lord and taylor were on the mall main 2 floor level after hahne's u could either take the esclator or the stairs to the mid level where you would see bamberger's and then alexanders would be straight down the hallway but sadly alexanders closed in the early 80's when caldor took over that location until the 1990's when that store was demolished in favor of a megascreen lowe's theatre along with a food court themed the boardwalk in the mid 1990's this mall wasn't really the same since a&s was gone,a lot of older stores left remeber chess king??,merry go round?? and grab this one bun n burger we always eat there when we went to monmouth.I think they had one at seaview square too which was 3 miles away in ocean

Uploading Pics

To add a new option to the left menu, just follow the example of items already there.

To make your pages pretty, add the three lines below - makes the right side links show, turns of the extra title (one is plenty, thanks!) and includes our little Google ads.
